The energy was real at the BruceGlen SS24 runway show. It was the type of energy giving off positive happy vibes. As I walked into the Resonance at Chelsea Piers in New York City, I knew this show was going to be fire! The setup was giving beautiful rainforest vibes without the rain. At my seat, there was a single rose, a printout description of what every model wore on the runway and a card briefly explaining the reason behind the “Life Lately” collection. Life Lately is defined as a present reflection and treating the present as a gift. I had the honor and pleasure meeting the identical twin designers themselves Bruce and Glen Proctor AKA the fashion preachers.
Every single piece from the “Life Lately”collection is breathtaking. There were beautiful vibrant colors and fun fabric prints highlighted on the runway. All worn by models that represented diversity in size, ethnicity, and gender, which is something I loved so much. I also love how the designers took time to interact and engage with everyone at the very end of the show.
It was the perfect ending to close out my New York Fashion Week with a bang. I cannot wait until the collection becomes available for us to shop. I am already planning and thinking about a few of the pieces for my summer vacation next year. Check out the highlight photos and videos I have captured during the show.
